Autumn is here! Wind, rain, sun, changeable termperatures. It's so much for our body and brain to cope with! If you're finding your energy levels and sense of calm fluctuating, grounding practises such as yoga, meditation, walks in nature, swimming in the sea, reading a physical book and simply slowing down and breathing properly can really help
It is truly Vata season (I'm talking about Ayurveda if you want to ask me or research it!) which has a tendency to make us feel more scattered and tired, even when we're taking care of ourselves, so taking less on, and finding quiet moments is extremely important to keep us feeling balanced as we head into the Autumn.

All classes are 70 minutes long and are a hatha yoga practice including asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing practise), relaxation and meditation. Classes are suitable for all levels of experience. You can start as a complete beginner and equally if you are more experienced you can practise at a stronger pace, as I offer continual variations and adaptations of pretty much all of the postures. If you have any specific injuries, conditions or worries, it is essential that you get in touch with me in advance of your first class so that I can ensure I am teaching you safely.

THE YOGA & WELLNESS ROOMS
In 2018 I opened The Yoga & Wellness Rooms which has been a dream of mine for a long time. Sadly our beautiful premises at The Old Town Hall on Shoreham High St have beeen shut for most of the last year due to Covid restricitons, but as soon as we are safely able to reopen the doors, myself and our wonderful teachers and practitioners will be back offering regular classes and holistic therapies to support your wellbeing.
